About our Jewellery
Many of the handmade jewellery products that we sell are either beaded necklaces, beaded bracelets or beaded earrings, but that's not all we have to offer! We also sell many pendants (with or without chains, your choice), sterling silver studded earrrings, drop earrings and charm bracelets.
We tailor for women of all ages and styles, from trendy, fashionable, bracelets, popular with our younger customers, right through to elegant, regal, evening-wear-style beaded necklaces popular with the more mature lady.
We have found our handmade jewellery pieces to be very popular gift ideas. Our designs make for great birthday, Christmas, anniversary and Valentine’s Day gifts and presents for all the other gift-giving events alike. Lorraine is an experienced beader who has been creating imaginative beaded designs for years. At times she runs beading workshops (head over to the blog to hear more about those) and has been an avid craft-fair goer and organiser for many years, taking her designs wide and far.
Gemstone Jewellery
Otherwise known as "semi-precious jewellery" or "gem jewellery". We offer 100s of gemstone jewellery designs made from over 30 different types of gemstones. We only buy from trustworthy suppliers to guarantee that our jewellery is made from 100% authentic gemstones. It makes for some of the most stunning, eye-catching pieces we have ever made or seen! Gemstones are renowned for catching glimmers of light (especially if the beads are faceted like many of ours), bringing attention from admirers all around you.
Pearl Jewellery
Nearly all of our pieces of pearl jewellery are made with freshwater pearls, sourced from East-Asia (the exception being some of the pearl bracelets made with glass pearls where stated). Coral Jewellery
We sell a range of coral jewellery here at thebeadqueen.co.uk that has always been very popular. All the pieces we retail are made from red sponge coral, a type coral made from the exoskeletons of red coral branches which is then compressed into polished, smooth, shiny, stylish beads. We love this type of coral for jewellery purposes as you can still see the attractive, intricate patterns formed naturally from its days as living organism.

A lesser known style of jewellery that we sell is millefiori jewellery. Millefiori glass beads are skillfully handmade to have intricate, stunning floral patterns shown on their surface. These designs have always been a hit at craft fairs amongst those who had not neccessarily heard of millefiori jewellery before, but are blown away by the beauty of them upon seeing them.
