Natural Grey Freshwater Pearl French Post Style Earrings

Freshwater Pearls are cultured by the fishermen in freshwater lakes throughout the World.  They cultivate the pearls by placing small pieces of live tissue into Mussel shells where they continue to grow. 

I have made these earrings using 2 x 8mm natural grey freshwater pearls (potato shaped) and attaching them to .925 Sterling Silver French style posts with standard scrolls on the back to keep them secure while wearing them.
