Hematite Jewellery

Hematite Jewellery looks fabulous. A silvery grey colour. Shiny yet opaque, resembling gunmetal when polished. Contrasts well with Mother of Pearl, but commonly used to enlighten most gemstones.

Hematite is the mineral form of iron. This extremely popular gemstone, was one of the most used stones in the world. It is compact and slightly heavier than other gemstones.   Not to be confused with "Hematine", which is a synthetic material sold as magnetic hematite.
