Ruby & Mother of Pearl Necklace

Ruby is probably the most iconic coloured gemstone in the world, and its name will forever be linked with its striking, definitive colour. It is part of the Corundum family of gemstones, which also includes Sapphire, but Ruby is the only form of Corundum that does not fall under the Sapphire name.

I have mixed the Rubies with Mother of Pearl and made this necklace to a length of 17 inches and added a Sterling Silver lobster clasp and 2 inch extension chain so it will fit comfortably around most peoples necks.
