Freshwater Pearls are cultured by the fishermen in freshwater lakes throughout the World.  They cultivate the pearls by placing small pieces of live tissue into Mussel shells where they continue to grow. Once harvested the pearls have adopted the colour of the inside of the shell they have grown in.

Made to a standard length of 16 inchs with a Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp and I have added a 2 inch Sterling Silver extension chain so it can be worn longer if necessary.
