Natural Grey Freshwater Pearl Necklace

Lustrous and sensuous genuine freshwater pearls, a nostalgic timeless keepsake for all women.  An item of extreme glamour and wardrobe necessity that can be worn with absolutely everything.

Freshwater Pearls are cultured by the fishermen in freshwater lakes throughout the World.  They cultivate the pearls by placing small pieces of live tissue into Mussel shells where they continue to grow. Once harvested the pearls have adopted the colour of the inside of the shell they have grown in.This current necklace is made with  7-8mm Silver/Grey (Peacock) Round Beads which have a natural irridescence which gives them a beautiful and lusterous look.

Made to a standard length of  18.5 inchs with a Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp and I have added a 2 inch Sterling Silver extension chain so it can be worn longer if necessary.
