Extra Large White Potato Shaped Freshwater Pearls Necklace

Freshwater Pearls are cultured by the fishermen in freshwater  lakes throughout the World.  They cultivate the pearls by placing small pieces of live tissue into Mussel shells and Oyster shells where they continue to grow. Once harvested the pearls have adopted the colour of the inside of the shell they have grown in.

I have made this necklace using XL Freshwater pearls that are potatoe shaped being 12mm wide and 10mm tall. When stringing the total quantity this makes a 17.5 inch necklace so I have added a 2 inch extension chain so it can be worn up to 19.5 inches long. All the findings are .925 Sterling Silver.
